Transparent & Clear Beads for Jewelry Making
Transparent beads bring light and color into bracelets, keychains and handmade jewelry designs. This collection brings together clear and colored transparent bead styles across glass and acrylic, with options ranging from small seed beads to round, faceted, letter and specialty shapes.
Browse Glass Beads for the broader glass assortment, or explore Acrylic Beads for more acrylic colors, shapes and finishes.
Clear Beads vs. Transparent Beads
Clear beads are one type of transparent bead with a colorless or nearly colorless appearance. Transparent beads can also be pink, blue, green, purple and other colors while still allowing light to pass through the bead.
Translucent beads have a softer, less see-through appearance. If that is the look you want, browse the separate Jelly (Translucent) Beads collection.
Glass & Acrylic Transparent Beads
The live assortment includes transparent glass seed beads, square and cube glass beads, faceted acrylic beads, round styles, heart beads, blank beads and transparent letter and number beads.
Some transparent beads also have an AB or iridescent finish. If the reflective rainbow finish is the main feature you are shopping for, browse AB (Iridescent) Beads.
Choosing Transparent Beads
Choose the bead style based on the shape, size, color and finish that fits your design. Smaller seed and spacer-style beads can add detail between other beads, while larger round, faceted and specialty shapes can become more noticeable parts of a design.
Sizes, hole dimensions, quantities, colors and finishes vary between products. Always check the individual product listing for the exact specifications before ordering.
